Time Out New York
"Fruit for your feet at Sweet Lily Spa"
January 15- 22, 2004
By Jamie Wolf |
|
There's nothing better to cozy up with this winter than
a nice cup of hot apple cider - for you feet. Sweet Lily is
ready to warm your heart and soles with its delicious "Country
Apple" pedicure. Start with some basic scrubbing and
cleaning, followed by a yummy brown sugar and cinnamon exfoliant.
Vanilla lotion helps you relax through the reflexology session,
which gets topped with a good cider soak, heaped with an extra
helping of sliced fresh apples. The cider contains malic and
tartaric acids, which are great alphahydroxies that exfoliate
dead skin. Finish off with a soothing antiseptic cinnamon
essential oil.
